In the name of God Amen I Robert Houghton of Henmoss in Great Harwood In the County of Lancaster yeoman Being of perfect health and in perfect mind and memory thanks be unto God do make Publish and ordain this my last Will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say, first it is my Will and mind that all my just debts Funeral expenses, charges of the probation of this my will and the re embursemnt of my Executors in the execution thereof be justly And truly paid and that I be decently buried at the discretion of my executors herein after Named and the above expenses to be Paid out of my freehold lying in Hen moss in Great aforesaid Also I give and bequeath Unto my gran daughter Amey Sharples now living in Preston the sum of Twenty five pounds to be paid to her When she attains the age of twenty one Years and to be raised and levied out of my freehold estate lying in Hen moss in Great Harwood aforesaid but if she dies Before she attains the age of twenty one years and leaving no lawfull issue then in in such Case I give and bequeath the aforesaid Twenty five pounds to my son James Houghton Also I give and bequeath unto my Gran Daughter Mary wife of  Lawrence Walmsley of Great Harwood aforesaid the sum of Twenty five pounds to be raised and Levied out of my freehold estate lying in Henmoss in Great Harwood in the County of Lancaster aforesaid to be paid to her or her Representatives at eh end of twelve months After my decease also I give devise and bequeath unto my son James Houghton his heirs  And assigns all my the remainder Of my right and title in my freehold estate in Hen moss in Great Harwood aforesaid to Together with all the rest residue and remainder Of all my personal estate whatsoever paying and discharging all the legacies according to this My Will. Lastly I constitute and Appoint James Baron and John Smalley both of Great Harwood executors of this my last  Will faithfully discharge the trusts I have hereby reposed in them Ratifying and confirming This to be my last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eleventh day of February in the year of our lord Thousand seven hundred and ninety seven.
