Clayton Hall Estate Sale Particulars 1925
The sale of the Clayton Hall Estate part of the manor of Great Harwood took place over two days in October 1925.
The sale particulars list all the various lots in both Clayton and Great Harwood, including many of the terraced housing erected since 1794. As such it is a wonderful source for the history of houses in the town.
The lots on the second day of the sale are listed in rough date order of the start of the lease – indicating a probable date of building.
